3 Balkan Cities to Visit in Summer

1) Neum,Bosnia and Herzegovina

Neum is an important city especially for Bosniaks. Because it's the only city which has seaside in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It divide Croatia into two parts.

It's the cheapest city in these 3 cities. Neum is the best choice for people who wants a relax and noiseless vacation.

Sea is really clean and also a bit cold. Another good fact : You can't see any wave in the sea.

But unfortunately beaches are not sandy.

2) Ohrid,Macedonia

Ohrid is known as 'Pearl Of Macedonia' .

Ohrid is one of the special cities in Balkans. If we compare with Neum, Ohrid is better about night life. I recommend you to go 'Cuba Libre Beach & Bar' when you visit Ohrid. It's a beautiful place is near to Ohrid Lake.Also prices are quite good.

There is no seaside in Republic of

Macedonia. But Lake Ohrid is really a good option for swimming.

Ohrid Lake is warmer than Adriatic Sea in summer season. So the people who like to swim in warm water, should choose Ohrid, Macedonia.

3) Budva,Montenegro

Budva is a small city of Montenegro. It's started to become popular especially for summer holidays.

Budva has colorful nightlife in summer.

Because of this, it fits to younger travellers more than Ohrid or Neum.

The only disadvantage of Budva can be the prices if we compare with other 2 cities.

Hotels or night clubs are more expensive in Budva. For my opinion; if nightlife is important for your holiday,it worths to pay more for Budva.
